1. About these terms

These terms apply when an adult buys or uses a Future Kids Academy membership at futurekids.art or its current hosted site. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Gert Toerien, trading as Future Kids Academy, whose contact details appear below. The adult placing an order is the “account holder”.

2. The service

A membership gives access to the selected grade’s online Mathematics or Science lessons, or the selected grade/skill level’s Reading and Writing lessons, practice activities and lesson-related AI tutoring while that membership is active. For Science Grades 10–12, access is limited to the chosen Life Sciences or Physical Sciences pathway. Each purchase unlocks only the selected course and grade or level; it does not open other courses. The learning material is supplementary and does not replace a school, teacher or individual educational support. AI-generated explanations may be incomplete or incorrect; a parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use and check important schoolwork.

The sales pages identify the learning paths and lesson content currently available. Reading and Writing is being built in stages; its current lessons and planned pathway are described on its sales page. We do not promise particular marks, exam results or learning outcomes.

3. Parent or guardian responsibility

Only an adult aged 18 or older may purchase a membership. The adult confirms that they are the learner’s parent or legal guardian, have authority to set up the learner’s access and consent to the limited processing described in the Privacy Policy. The adult is responsible for supervising the learner, keeping login details safe and ensuring the learner does not enter personal or sensitive information into tutor chats.

4. Prices, billing and access

• Maths and Science Grades 1–7, and Reading and Writing Levels 1–3: R249 per month, billed monthly, or R1,999 once-off for one year.
• Maths and Science Grades 8–12, and Reading and Writing Levels 4–5: R299 per month, billed monthly, or R2,499 once-off for one year.

The checkout displays the chosen course, grade or reading level, any Science subject pathway, billing period and price before you continue to Paystack. Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. Yearly plans are paid once and do not renew automatically. Access starts after payment is verified and is tied to the selected course, grade or reading level, Science pathway where applicable, and account email. Payment card details are entered through Paystack; Future Kids Academy does not receive or store the full card number.

5. Seven-day money-back guarantee

You may request a full refund of the membership amount paid if you contact us within seven calendar days after successful payment. This voluntary guarantee applies to monthly and yearly memberships and is additional to any rights provided by law. For a monthly plan, asking for a refund also asks us to cancel future renewals. We will process an eligible refund through the original payment channel where available. We may ask for the payment reference and account email to locate the transaction; never send a full card number or security code.

Access to the refunded membership ends when the refund is processed. This guarantee does not reduce any statutory rights or remedies.

6. Monthly cancellation and statutory rights

You can request cancellation of a monthly renewal using the operator contact details below. Please do so before the next scheduled payment to reduce the chance of another charge. A cancellation stops future renewals when processed; it does not by itself refund a payment already made. The seven-day guarantee and any applicable statutory cancellation or refund rights remain available. Nothing in these terms waives a right that cannot lawfully be waived.

7. Fair use and ownership

The lessons, illustrations, characters, text and software are provided for the learner’s personal educational use. Do not sell, publish, copy in bulk, redistribute, scrape or use them to create a competing course without written permission. Do not attempt to bypass membership access, disrupt the service or use another person’s account without permission.

8. Availability and changes

We may update lessons, fix errors, add material or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance or security. We will take reasonable steps to restore the service if it is unavailable. If a material change affects a paid membership, applicable consumer rights continue to apply.

9. Liability and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. They do not exclude or limit consumer rights, warranties or liability where the law does not permit that. Subject to those rights, Future Kids Academy is not responsible for a learner’s school results or for decisions made solely on the basis of an AI response.
